We have decomposed the spectra of over 400 broad-line AGN from the SDSS into their AGN and host galaxy components using the eigenvector technique of Vanden Berk et al. (2005). The spectra were selected to have high S/N, and to have the host spectra of early-type (bulge dominated) galaxies. We have measured the host luminosities from photometric data, stellar velocity dispersions from the host galaxy spectral component, and black hole masses from the broad-line AGN spectral component. The host galaxy velocity dispersions and luminosities follow the well-known Faber-Jackson relation. The estimated black hole masses are correlated with both the host luminosities and the stellar velocity dispersions.
