[57.08] WIYN Open Cluster Study: Lithium Observations of NGC 2451 A and B

C. P. Deliyannis, S. J. Margheim (Indiana University), J. R. King (University of Nevada, Las Vegas), A. Steinhauer (Indiana University)

We have analyzed high-S/N (200/pixel) high resolution (R ~ 20,000 = 2.5 pixels) spectra of the lithium region of proper-motion-selected main-sequence members belonging to the young (100 Myr) open clusters NGC 2451 A and B, taken at the WIYN 3.5m telescope with the Hydra multi-object spectrograph. Since the clusters are roughly coeval, but have different metallicities, they provide an interesting comparison in Li abundance differences in young open clusters. Comparisons with other clusters are also presented.
