We present results of elemental abundance measurements in the interstellar medium along a line of sight to X Persei (aka HD 24534/4U 0352 +30). Using high S/N spectrscopic UV data obtained using HST-STIS, we measured line profiles and equivalent widths to determine column densities and depletions in the gas. We compare these results with those obtained from Chandra x-ray data for total abundances and depletions of the medium along the same line of sight and discuss the overall distribution of the elements between the gas and the dust.
