The quasar PKS 1030-357 has one of the more unusual X-ray jets to be discovered in our Chandra survey (Marshall et al 2005): it shows little emission along the inner 10" (85 kpc in plane of the sky at z = 1.455), but then exhibits a sequence of X-ray bright features ~13" from the core. These features coincide with what may be a pair of ~90 degree bends in the radio structure, representing a rare instance in which X-ray emission remains strong downstream of an abrupt change of direction in the radio jet. We will present new results from recent (and scheduled) observations with Chandra, Hubble, Spitzer, and ATCA.
