DPS Pasadena Meeting, 23-27 October 2000

All findings are embargoed until the time of presentation at the meeting.
The program for the DPS 2000 meeting is given below. Authors should note that because of the large number of abstracts submitted (583) and the desire to avoid triple sessions, about 10% of those authors who strongly preferred oral presentations have been switched to posters. Most authors who weakly preferred oral presentations or stated no preference were also given poster talks. We apologize to anyone who is inconvenienced by this selection. However, it was unavoidable given the very large number of abstracts submitted. Authors should carefully check the presentation format assigned for their talks.

All contributed oral presentation are 5 minute talks with 5 minutes for questions and answers, and for changing speakers. The session chairs are instructed to keep the program on schedule to facilitate parallel sessions.

Ample time for poster sessions has been included in the program. Posters will be available all week. Poster size is limited to 4' x 4' (1.22 m x 1.22 m). Authors may begin putting up their posters at 12:30 pm on Monday, and are asked to remove them by 2:00 pm on Friday. Posters not removed on time will be discarded.
